Sports Teams, Athletes, Performers, Parents, Coaches, Referees, Business Professionals, First Responders

What to expect: Honest one-on-one conversations done either on Google Meet, in person or over the phone depending on location and availability, about one's current performance. We will dive deep into finding your "Why" and using it to find the answers as to how to get better and what is in your way. While so much can be achieved within a team setting as far as group dynamics and culture, the real magic happens at the individual level so I encourage athletes to also take advantage of the opportunity to meet one-on-one along with team sessions.
How to meet: If you would like to set up a meeting to see if we work well together and how you can reach a new level of performance, sign up for a free consultation.
What to expect: First I will meet with either the coaches, captains, program directors, and/or leaders to understand what topics the team could benefit from. We will then establish a game plan with topics, dates, and price packages. Common topics for teams include confidence, self-talk, motivation, mental toughness, and imagery.
How to meet: Depending on travel and availability we can do group sessions both in person and via Google Meet. If you think your team could benefit from gaining a competitive edge through mental performance coaching, please send me an email or sign up for a free consultation.
What to expect: Workshops are available to coaches, parents, corporations, or anyone looking to learn more about human performance and how to improve their own. Topics of discussion include but are not limited to: confidence, public speaking, comfort-zones, burn-out, optimal coaching styles, and mindfulness. If you are interested in setting up a workshop please email me or sign up for a free consultation.
How to meet: If you would like to see what mental performance coaching can do for your program, set up a free consultation.

How can it be used in the workplace?
Our research and uses for Sport and Performance Psychology can be compared to Industrial and Organizational Psychology, which is defined by the APA as “the study of behaviors that improve the environment, performance, communication, satisfaction, and safety of employees in the workplace.” Both fields of research acknowledge that in different aspects of our lives, people perform skills that can be optimized. Whether that is making sales calls, giving a presentation, closing a deal, working with a team on a project, or separating home and office life, there is a psychological component correlated to the success level. There are tools and applications within sport psychology that can help improve the mental performance of their employees which can lead to high efficiency, quick goal achievement, more passionate individuals, and stronger leaders.
Tools and Application
We use stress management techniques (some as simple as learning how to breathe to thrive, not just survive) help with confidence, performance in high-pressure situations, and overall physical health in clients. We use personality assessments (such as the DISC) to give teams a common language to use and understand each others’ communication and conflict management styles. This improves leadership, goal achievement, team efficiency, and employee longevity. We also use leadership development programs to help individuals understand what they bring to the table and how to inspire others to accomplish common goals. From the team member who doesn’t understand their role, to the president of the company, knowing how to lead yourself and others has tangible benefits.
Is Sport and Performance Psychology right for your company?
Have you or any of your employees ever shown signs of burnout?
Have you ever assigned someone a leadership role and they weren’t able to meet the challenge?
Do your employees experience stress tied to expectations, goals, home life, or health issues?
Do you have bigger goals for your company and are looking for how to find an edge on your competition?
The research behind the creation of Sport and Performance Psychology has a simple goal: to help us understand how to best optimize performance. When we talk about what performance means in our daily lives, there are massive applications. It makes sense for the Sport and Performance Psychology theories and findings to be applied to all aspects of human performance, which is why the field has expanded to performance outside of sport.
"Hope is simply amazing. She is organized, dedicated, and determined. She is thoughtful in working with student-athletes and a master of her craft. She is so driven to help young athletes with confidence and self-talk and did an amazing job with our lacrosse program. I'm excited to watch Hope excel in helping more and more athletes and empowering them to be the best version of themselves every single day."
Through working with Hope on my mental game, I have been able to develop skills and personalized routines to help me stay grounded in the moment, learn from my mistakes but not dwell on them, and cope with stress both inside and outside the water. I learned the importance of tracking and recognizing small goals and achievements along the way. Through developing myself mentally, my confidence has increased exponentially, changing the way I play water polo and redefining my view of myself as both an athlete and an individual. Working with Hope has given me multiple tools and a mindset that are helping me to adapt, overcome, and thrive as a collegiate athlete.
I thought it was really important to have a reason and a why behind why you play. I thought it was also important to share with your teammates how you respond to criticism when you get in your head and how you would want your teammates to respond to it.
Discover your why, set new goals, achieve higher performance.
If you have found my page, then that means you want the best for your child and their athletic or performance career. I do too. I have seen firsthand how performing under pressure can make or break a young athlete's career. My main goal and philosophy is to build better people who become better athletes. The lessons within Sports Psychology are applicable on the field and in the locker room; they can also be utilized in the classroom, in relationships, and eventually in the workplace. This is something I have my athletes constantly practice. With any tool or challenge, I give them an on and off-the-field application component. This allows them to build and strengthen the neural pathways needed to create new habits and makes the skills transferable to life after sport.
My career playing Division 1 soccer combined with my experience and time studying this field has shown me what a lasting impact these topics and tools can have on an individual. I want to help your athlete compete at their highest level, find the answers on their own, and become the best human they can be.
I would love to chat about what your athlete or performer's goals and aspirations are, so please schedule a free consultation and take that next step.
Please include who you are, what you do, and any questions your may have.
