High School Golfer - Shoots lowest round the next day

One day after meeting with Hope at the UCLA golf camp in 2023, this golfer shot his lowest round by utilizing visualization techniques for the first time.  

Club Basketball Player Earns More Playing Time

Player met with Hope to develop discipline, focus, and consistency. Player was struggling with emotional control and learned tools that allowed them to stay in the game mentally and make a positive impact on their team.

Club Soccer Player Finds Her Confidence Again

Hope met with player to develop confidence, mental resilience, and mistake recovery speed. Athlete developed better field vision, confidence, and communication. Player is a winger/leader on the team.

Competitive Tennis Player Increases Focus and Hitting Accuracy

Adult competitive and rec tennis player met with Hope to mitigate distractive thinking patterns on the court. Player developed greater focus and consistency in serves and reductions in unforced errors.

All-Star Youth Baseball Team Lifts Overall Batting Average

Team and individual players met with Hope to develop visualization, at-bat routines, and anchors to bounce back from mistakes. Team cohesion increased and wins All-Star tournament.

Claremont McKenna Swim Team - Wins collegiate conference championship

Team and individual coaching resulted in performance turnaround within weeks (early in the season). Further, athletes returning from injuries received mental confidence training adding to depth of the team and contributions to conference championship. 

Club Basketball Team Gels for the First Time

One meeting with Hope prior to a cross-country tournament led team away from extrinsic motivators (selfish playing styles) and allowed them to find common goals that led to on-the-court success. Team cohesion was achieved by defining on and off the court roles which contributed to the common goal.  

Cal Fire Rookie Succeeds with Mental Resiliency Training

First Responder met with Hope to develop test-taking skills, coping mechanisms, and mental resiliency. This individual was recognized by his captain for outstanding performance and is rising through ranks at Cal Fire.

Spin Studio Increases Instructor Performance

Pre-performance routines including confidence boosting, grounding, and refocusing tools improved stage performance and led to consistent 5-star ratings from riders.

Nike Sports Camp Runner Finds Joy in her Sport Again

This individual sought out daily conversations with Hope in search of her Why. Through journaling and reflection she was able to find joy in her sport again and was awarded the Next Athlete's Award at the the end of the camp.

What happens when we ignore the mental aspects of performance?

Just like poor movement patterns can form, our mind can form habitual thoughts and reactions that don't serve us. We can get stuck in these negative patterns, lose confidence, and miss out on opportunities to grow.
